SRISHTI INTERNATIONAL is a compassionate, non-sectarian national registered voluntary organisation that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the poor and needy as it is working in multi dimensional area of BEHAVIORAL CHANGE COMMUNICATION, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, EQUITY & ACCESS, PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP, HEALTH SECTOR REFORMS, CHILD LABOUR WELFARE, SOCIAL EMPOWERMENT, RESEARCH AND SURVEY SECTORS spread over various blocks of 17 districts in Bihar and one district of Jharkhand. Rural villages and their resources are the life line of a nation’s economy. About 70% of populations in our country live in rural areas and more than 50% of them live in abject poverty. Poverty is not due to dearth of resources but lack of proper utilization and improper management of natural resources.
Established in 2001, Srishti International is a non-government, non-political, not for profit, secular organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) and the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act. It is supported by the Departments of Health , Labour Resources , SC & ST Welfare , PHED and Education, of the Government of Bihar.
